摘要: Monitoring maritime oil flow is important for the security and stability of energy transportation, especially since “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” (MSR) concept was proposed. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) provides public annual data chokepoints, which do not reflect subtle changes. Therefore, we used automatic identification system (AIS) from 2014 to 2016 applied proposed technical framework four chokepoints (the straits Malacca, Hormuz, Bab el-Mandeb, Cape Good Hope) within MSR region. deviations statistical values results estimated by AIS EIA data, as well general direction flow, demonstrate reliability framework. Further, monthly seasonal cycles flows through differ significantly in terms value trend but generally show an upward trend. Besides, first trough Hormuz Malacca corresponds with military activities 2014, while second owing outbreak Middle East Respiratory Syndrome 2015.
