摘要: This paper develops a general framework for deriving the spatial throughput and transmission capacity of spatially Poisson distributed ad hoc networks (i) random (e.g., fading) channels, (ii) distances. In both these scenarios randomness channels ranges invariably lowers assuming that users randomly elect to transmit with some probability (i.e., Aloha). Assuming each node knows channel state information (CSI, e.g., gain and/or distance) just its intended receiver, we propose simple threshold-based scheduling rule derive threshold optimizes throughput. The gains are surprisingly large: factor three increase in over Aloha is typical even no further coordination between nodes network.
