摘要: The motion of distributed structures is governed by partial differential equations to be satisfied inside a given domain defining the structure and boundary conditions at points bounding this domain. In essence, are infinite-dimensional systems, so that control presents problems not encountered in lumped-parameter systems. Indeed, for most part, theory was developed many concepts applicable situation considerable better using modal control, which amounts controlling its modes. case, do carry over distributed-parameter structures, as both types can described terms coordinates. main difficulty arises computing gains, implies gain matrices. This question obviated independent modal-space method, but requires force, difficult implement. Implementation point actuators possible, reduced number modes, i.e., truncation. Another approach direct feedback whereby sensors collocated with actuators, actuator force depends only on sensor signal same point. Here deciding suitable gains. Damping tends complicate matters, except case proportional damping. controls designed ease undamped structures.
