摘要: The angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) and receptor blockers (ARBs) are a well known entity have been used in therapeutics for various indications like hypertension, myocardial infarction CHF. However, there is renewed interest these compounds terms of their effects on pain perception animals as human beings. They yielded contradictory results, showing hyperalgesia some studies but analgesia others. Hence this study was undertaken to evaluate the effect Ramipril (an ACE-I) Losartan ARB) volunteers using cola caps handcuff sphygmomanometer. A total 30 healthy, normotensive individuals with no previous history intake analgesics during or 4 weeks prior were selected after an informed consent. first group received single dose placebo, second (2.5 mg) & third (50 mg). Pain threshold (the point at which individual experiences pain) maximum tolerated assessed above method. control showed significant changes threshold, receiving either decline pain. Only not decreased threshold. Our revealed that treatment healthy may cause algesia early ingestion further needed long term perception.
