摘要: The five ARIES designs, which correspond to different tokamak operating modes, are reviewed and compared. Physics figures of merit introduced that quantify the major parameters a design in physics space. modes compared one another existing data base terms these parameters. While steady-state first stability [ARIES-I] pulsed [PULSAR] closest, no has yet been completely prototyped tokamaks.
