摘要: The midline of the insect CNS provides a good system for studying control neuronal and glial cell fates, because it contains small number distinct types that arise from unique set precursors. In this report we analyze development in grasshopper embryo, focusing on median neuroblast (MNB) cluster, which majority neurons. We have directly traced lineage MNB cluster by injecting with tracer dyes following its progeny whole embryo cultures. As least three are labeled dye these experiments. addition, find all glia also derived MNB. Thus, is actually multipotent progenitor cell. examined temporal spatial patterns staining embryos antibodies to markers protein product engrailed gene, transiently expressed progeny.
