摘要: The hip joint is the most important weight-bearing in human body, and its integrity of vital importance to ambulation general well-being. Although total replacement has led tremendous advances reconstruction joint, artificial still considered be inferior natural articular components; active biological activities latter enable them last much longer make more capable resisting adverse conditons, both biomechanical environmental. Therefore, whenever obviously not treatment choice, as case young patients (aged 20–40 years), special problems arise when femoral head at risk destruction or collapse. These are encountered large bony defects occur proximal femur after tumour resection, there non-union neck fracture (whether viability threatened) avascular necrosis head. Attempts have been made past treat these problems, but on whole, results uniformly unsatisfactory. procedures attempted included use free bone grafts. If grafts were small, they mechanically weak, if large, it was difficult get revascularised. difficulties might explain high rates failure [1, 2].
