摘要: Numerous studies have been performed on the behavior of stone columns subjected to vertical loads. However, little research has focused determining shear strength and equivalent parameters cohesive soils reinforced with columns. The in this area mostly includes numerical analyses which do not consider effect stress concentration ratio, value ratio such is assumed be 1. In study, an experimental investigation carried out loads, purpose actual ratio. experiments were a large direct device. single, square triangular arrangements three different replacement ratios under loads investigated. Soft clay was used as bed material, column material either crushed or fine-grained sand. Results showed that decreased increase diameter highest for arrangement lowest single obtained from those predicted by analytical relationships compared at 1 values experiments. also measured higher than relationships.
