摘要: Abstract Visualization experiments were carried out to investigate the nucleate pool boiling heat transfer characteristics of ethane, isobutane and their binary mixtures on a horizontal flat surface. Extensive experimental coefficient data obtained under various pressures 0.1 MPa, 0.3 MPa 0.5 MPa for pure substances mixtures. The measurements performed fluxes from 20 kW/m2 150 kW/m2 at descending flux procedure. For mixtures, measured covering whole concentration range. Obvious reduction was found. Various empirical correlations screened comparison. accuracy those varied considerably with mixture concentrations measurement conditions. bubble departure diameter frequency also carefully observed. Increasing can obviously increase both refrigerants But effect shows non-linear influence size frequency, which varies distinctly concentrations.
