摘要: Abstract The effect of modulated air jets, introduced through the combustor shell, on temperature distribution and nitric oxide emissions is investigated. Temperature measurements have been made at a number forcing frequencies in range 100–850 Hz, blowing ratios 4–10 equivalence between 0.6 1.0. Open-loop flame response to has also acquired by recording pressure spectra. Results show that substantial reductions index (15–30%) can be obtained over wide flow conditions with side-air jet forcing. In addition, alters time averaged field, higher mean temperatures close dump plane, due enhanced fuel-air mixing. volumetric heat release enable more compact designs. lower are potentially linked greater unsteadiness
