Key to carotenoids

摘要: In 1948 Paul Karrer and Ernst Jucker compiled the first comprehensive book on topic of carotenoids. Their work included a list 65 natural carotenoids with known unknown structures. Otto Isler's 'Carotenoids' which appeared in 1971, Straub published new expanded 'List Natural Carotenoids' comprised 273 compounds all literature data at time. This proved to be such value those working field carote- noids that 5 years later came out an up- dated version ofthelist entitled 'Key Carotenoids'.
