摘要: This article reports on an amorphous-crystalline silicon heterojunction photovoltaic cell concept wherein the regions are laterally narrow and distributed amidst a backdrop of well-passivated crystalline surface. The localized heterojunctions consisting thin emitter back-surface field precisely aligned under metal grid-lines bus-bars while remaining surface is passivated using recently proposed facile grown native oxide–plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposited nitride passivation scheme. mitigates parasitic optical absorption losses by relegating amorphous to beneath shadowed metallized optically transparent layer. A conversion efficiency 13.6% obtained for untextured proof-of-concept illuminated AM 1.5 global spectrum; specific performance parameters VOC 666...
