摘要: Antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) are the mainstay in treatment of epilepsy, one most common serious chronic neurological disorders. AEDs display extensive pharmacological variability between and within patients, a major determinant differences response to is pharmacokinetic variability. Host factors affecting AED delivery may be defined as characteristics that determine site action, epileptic focus. Individual occur absorption, distribution, metabolism excretion. These can determined by genetic including gender ethnicity, but pharmacokinetics also affected age, specific physiological states life, such pregnancy, or pathological conditions hepatic renal insufficiency. Pharmacokinetic interactions with other another important source AEDs. presently available discussed this review well their clinical implications.
