摘要: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for providing fault tolerance in Totem Networks by use of redundant fabrics. The above accomplished one embodiment the invention operating devices on network such way that mark token to indicate when has been switched from fabric another response timeout. A Ring Master device determines, based switching whether or failed. In addition, fabrics have failed are monitored determine they become operational. Retransmission improperly received messages as per token-message-order protocols also provided situations which before all intended given properly received.
