摘要: Abstract Nonsimilarity solutions for mixed convection from a vertical flat plate embedded in porous medium are reported two surface heating conditions: variable wall temperature (VWT) and heat flux (VHF) of the power-law form. The entire regime is divided into regions. One region covers forced dominated other one free regime. governing equations first transformed dimensionless form by nonsimilar transformation then solved finite-difference scheme. Four nonsimilarity parameters introduced. Rax/Pex Rax*/Pex3/2 characterize effect buoyancy forces on VWT VHF cases, respectively; while Pex/Rax Pex/Rax*2/3 flow respectively.
