摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small, noncoding RNAs of 18-25 nucleotides that generally believed to either block the translation or induce degradation target mRNA. miRNAs have been shown play fundamental roles in diverse biological and pathological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis carcinogenesis. Fibrosis results from an imbalance turnover extracellular matrix molecules is a highly debilitating process can eventually lead organ dysfunction. A growing body evidence suggests participate fibrotic number organs heart, kidney, liver lung. In this review, we summarize our current understanding role development tissue fibrosis their potential as novel drug targets.
