摘要: A novel chitosan-based magnetic adsorbent [poly(2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid) grafted chitosan microspheres, PMCMs] was successfully fabricated via free radical polymerization for effectively removing the cationic dye methylene blue (MB). The effects of initial solution pH (1.0-10.0), temperature (30-50°C), contact time (0-660min) and concentration (50-1600mg/L) were studied. results indicated that adsorption capacity increased with increasing temperature. kinetic equilibrium data fitted closely to pseudo-second-order model Langmuir isotherm respectively, confirming monolayer adsorption. maximum PMCMs MB at 9.0 1000, 1250 1428mg/g 30, 40 50°C, respectively. Furthermore, microspheres could be easily separated using a magnet regenerated after finishing treatment process. Therefore, are promising candidates removal from wastewater.
