摘要: Enterprise architecture software design is all about composing applications to assemble value-added solutions rather than standalone products. Yet, each product and technology may have been designed developed separately because of engineering practices, management control over the deliverables, or acquisitions. To promote efficient assembly, must be architected in a similar style, adhering fundamental principles while leveraging capabilities available modern environments relevant platforms. Furthermore, business agility cost requirements dictate identification common their development as reusable components across products solutions. The 4x6 Tiered Architecture Method presented this paper imposes structured design, terms steps follow, structure documentation, for logical view an enterprise solution. Application method analysis solution yields six-tiered abstract specification. This specification expresses various components, dependencies patterns using graph-based data model (or “architecture catalog”) blueprint, latter expressed both diagram XML document. has applied practice; experience indicates that results higher quality requires lower effort constructing reviewing its documentation.
