摘要: Body ownership illusions provide evidence that our sense of self is not coherent and can be extended to non-body objects. Studying about these gives us practical tools understand the brain mechanisms underlie body recognition experience self. We previously introduced an illusion transfer (BOT) for operators a very humanlike robot. This sensation owning robot’s was confirmed when controlled robot either by performing desired motion with their (motion-control) or employing brain-computer interface (BCI) translated motor imagery commands movement (BCI-control). The interesting observation during BCI-control could induced even noticeable delay in BCI system. Temporal discrepancy has always shown critical weakening effects on illusions. However delay-robustness BOT raised question interaction between proprioceptive inputs delayed visual feedback agency-driven In this work, we compared intensity two conditions; motion-control BCI-control. Our results revealed significantly stronger case finding highlights BCI’s potential inducing building direct communication body, therefore removing awareness from subject’s own body.
