摘要: Objective: We conducted a cross-sectional study to evaluate the lung function and respiratory symptoms of Hong Kong bus tram drivers exposed air pollutants. Methods: Demographic information, vital signs, pulmonary function, blood lead levels in 358 male air-conditioned buses (ACB) were compared with 129 non-air-conditioned trams (NACB). Particulate matter (PM10), carbon dioxide (CO2) monoxide (CO) measured 16 15 along same route. Results: Forced capacity, forced expiratory volume 1 s maximal voluntary ventilation lower but higher NACB ACB drivers. More reported frequent productive cough, dry as well sore throat. The parameters than cohort personnel working an academic environment. work-year duration was longer scheduled days off per month shorter for (13.4±8.8 years 4.3±1.3 days) (11.5±9 years 5.4±0.8 days), respectively (P<0.001). PM10 CO2 (265±83 μg/m3 2,114±69.6 ppm) (161±103 μg/m3 500 ppm, respectively) (P<0.005). Conclusion: hypothesise that prolonged exposure pollutants adversely affects our recirculation could result
