摘要: Background: Comprehensive multisystem clinical assessment using the Birmingham Vasculitis Activity score (BVAS) is widely used in therapeutic studies of systemic vasculitis. Extensive use suggested a need to revise instrument. The previous version BVAS has been revised, according usage and reviewed by an expert committee. Objective: To modify validate 3 patients with Methods: new was tested prospective cross-sectional study Results: number items reduced from 66 56. subscores for new/worse disease persistent were unified. In 313 vasculitis, BVAS(v.3) correlated treatment decision (Spearman’s r s = 0.66, 95% CI 0.59 0.72), BVAS1 2 ( = 0.94, 0.92 0.96), BVAS2 = 0.60, 0.21 0.83), C-reactive protein levels = 0.43, 0.31 0.54), physician’s global = 0.91, 0.89 0.93) vasculitis activity index = 0.88, 0.86 0.91). intraclass correlation coefficients reproducibility repeatability 0.96 (95% 0.95 0.97) 0.97), respectively. 39 assessed at diagnosis again months, fell 17 15 19) units (p Conclusion: demonstrates convergence BVAS(v.2), decision, physician activity, protein.
