摘要: Background: Left atrial (LA) strain (S) and rate (SR) are reported as measures of intrinsic function. Aim: Since the LA left ventricle (LV) connected through mitral annulus, we investigated: (1) if deformation indices in mostly predicted by LV; (2) timings S SR events similar both (3) alteration patients with primarily LV dysfunction would be LV. Methods: We retrospectively assessed 50 asymptomatic women (Group 1) 20 recent (< 96 h) acute pulmonary oedema (10 women) 2). Using speckle tracking, amplitude were averaged from three apical views, for one cardiac cycle, starting P-wave. Results: In Group 1, all higher compared (p < 0.001 all). 2, during contraction vs. 0.05 both), but other not different All occurred simultaneously groups, except which slightly earlier than By multiple regression analysis, most important predictors corresponding indices, especially 1: r = 0.35–0.52; 2: 0.76–0.85; p Fisher r-to-z transform). Conclusions: strongly reflects subjects dysfunction. With possible exception individuals, discriminating function influence is difficult using analysis.
