摘要: In this work, the remediation of soils contaminated with multiple metals using ferric and alum water treatment residuals (FARs) in Baiyin, China, was investigated. The results fractionation indicated that after soil treated FARs, arsenic (As), lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn) copper (Cu) could be transformed into more stable forms, i.e., As bound crystalline Fe/Al oxides other oxidable residual forms. However, forms chromium (Cr) cadmium (Cd) were unaffected. Interestingly, due to effect barium (Ba) predominantly mobile bioaccessibility extraction test demonstrated FARs reduced by 25%, followed Cu, Cr, Zn, Ni Pb. Cd Ba increased; particular, there an increase 41% for at end test. conclusion, can used remedy metals, but comprehensive studies are needed before practical applications work.
