Extreme Seasons and Extreme Visitation: The Case of Changbai Mountain Biosphere Reserve

摘要: Changbai Mountain Biosphere Reserve in the northeast of China was established for its biodiversity and ecological significance. Local communities traditionally used natural resources area through harvesting hunting forest products. With declaration, this subsistence use banned, were greatly affected by regulations but moved towards gaining income from tourism.
