摘要: Changbai Mountain Biosphere Reserve in the northeast of China was established for its biodiversity and ecological significance. Local communities traditionally used natural resources area through harvesting hunting forest products. With declaration, this subsistence use banned, were greatly affected by regulations but moved towards gaining income from tourism. During past two decades tourist numbers during summer months have grown less than 30,000 per year 1980s to more half a million 2006. benefited economically increased tourism activity, extreme seasonality has also brought community disruption.
