摘要: A new system, the Australian Clinico-pathological Staging (ACPS) System, has recently been proposed for recording and reporting of colorectal carcinoma. This system requires accurate use precise definitions, cooperation between surgeons pathologist, a complete pathology report. It utilizes all information available--clinical, radiologic, operative, pathologic--before stage is allotted. contrasts with Dukes' which based solely on pathologic examination resected allows classifications cases cancer seen, whether treated by resection, palliative surgery, local excision or not at all. The presentation five-year survival 490 patients are compared using ACPS systems. Eighty-four were classifiable under there was significant difference in one comparable groups patients.
