摘要: This study reports the experimental results on behaviors and modes of failure circular concrete specimens preconfined with steel jackets. A total 30 were tested in this study. The dimensions 150 mm diameters 300 height. main variables ultimate compressive strength concrete, thickness jacket preconfining pressure. From tests, it was found that ductility tubed are increased significantly compared to reference specimens, depending used have a linear elastic behavior up or 50-70% their first maximum load. Then, is nonlinear form strain softening very large deformation before failure.
