摘要: We consider the problem of using linear nested arrays to estimate direction arrival (DOA) spatially distributed sources and detect source number, where we have more than actual physical sensors. Angular spread, caused by multipath nature sources, makes commonly used point assumption ineffective. In this paper, establish signal model for a array. Due characteristics regular spatial smoothing technique, which is exploit increased degrees freedom provided co-array, no longer works. thus propose novel approach circumvent problem. Based on analytical results, construct corresponding DOA estimation number detection methods. The effectiveness proposed methods verified through numerical examples.
