摘要: An overcoring program in three nearly orthogonal boreholes, intersecting the same rock volume, was carried out highly stressed Lac du Bonnet granite at 240-m level of Underground Research Laboratory (URL). The designed to determine if more commonly used United States Bureau Mines borehole deformation gauge (USBM gauge) gave similar situ stress results as a modified Council Scientific and Industrial (CSIR) triaxial strain cell. A total 15 successful USBM tests 17 CSIR were out. measured mean tensor for fell within 90% confidence limits results.
