The paradoxes of city strategy practice: Why some issues become strategically important and others do not

摘要: Abstract Based on an in-depth study of a strategy initiative in the city Gothenburg, Sweden, this article addresses practice making. Using methods inspired by ethnography, illustrates complex task drafting strategies urban context. The concept paradox is used to highlight tensions involved being strategic city, that can also affect outcome, i.e., document. Examining organizational paradoxes way deepen our understanding why content document has certain qualities and some issues become strategically important while others do not.
