摘要: The plasma membrane dopamine transporter (DAT) and the vesicular monoamine (VMAT2) are key regulators of neurotransmission. DAT acts to terminate actions by rapidly removing from synapse, while VMAT2 mediates loading cytoplasm vesicles for storage subsequent release. Recent data our laboratories others’ suggest that perturbation tightly regulated balance between these two transporters alters function may predispose neuron damage a variety insults.
