摘要: The plant vacuolar sorting receptor (VSR) binds proteins carrying signals (VSS) of the 'sequence-specific' type (ssVSS) but not C-terminal, hydrophobic (ctVSS). Seeds Arabidopsis mutants lacking major VSR isoform, AtVSR1, secrete a proportion destined to storage vacuoles. for these are well defined, they do seem be ssVSS type. Here, we tested whether absence VSR1 in seeds leads secretion reporter ctVSS. Our results show that reporters either or ctVSS equally secreted VSR1. We discuss our findings relation current model sorting.
