摘要: A semi-analytical approach, relying on the mode-matching method and resonator technique, is proposed. It conceived to evaluate performance of mode filters, based corrugations partially filled with an absorbing material, in case oversized rectangular waveguides. The mathematical formulation allows accurate fast computation scattering parameters, through closed-form expression surface integrals some matrix algebra. theoretical model implemented a code that benchmarked against finite-element elucidate its advantages respect volumetric solvers. After giving insight physical mechanisms ruling these devices, modal used run particle swarm optimization algorithm for different types taking advantage reduced time developed tool.
