摘要: Out of 20 patients with viral hepatitis whose glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) levels were normal, 14 had clinical evidence a mild to moderate degree haemolysis but in all the studied half life chromium-51-labelled red cells was shortened. 18 deficient G-6-PD 17 haemolysis, and eight this more severe than group normal values. Massive intravascular occurred four, three whom died. The massive attributed presence additional drug-induced oxidative stress G-6-PD-deficient cells.
