摘要: The effect of solarization on crystallization and mechanical properties lithium silicate-based glass-ceramics containing photosensitive elements Ce, Sb, Sn, Ag was investigated. were characterized by using differential thermal analysis (DTA), x-ray diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). performed irradiation the glasses. Solarization glasses led to more sharp patterns metasilicate in XRD heat-treated glass-ceramics. Moreover, while irradiated after heat treatment had fine texture, non-irradiated ones showed coarse caused surface crystallization. mean 3-point flexural strength micro-hardness resulted increased considerably solarization; however, Weibull modulus did not change significantly.
