摘要: Abstract Energy retrofit of educational buildings is an effective solution to the high energy consumption and thermal discomfort problems in this sector. This article presents procedure two typical schools built before after 2000 Iran. The contains three steps: first preliminary building performance assessment presenting proposals, second optimizing prioritizing scenarios based on simulation payback time (PBT), third implemented techniques. modeling PBT analysis indicate air tightening, window replacement, roof insulation are among most efficient for implementation. selected measures environment were monitored order assess target achievements. In addition 29.87% 38.29% primary reduction observed implementations old new cases respectively, questionnaire surveys approved indoor environmental quality enhancements. As a pilot study results show that proposed method could support decision making process future projects.
