摘要: This chapter summarizes what has gone before, with special reference to hypothesized effects of climate on history. Climate an unpredictable and usually indirect effect events the ground. In general, climatic that produce famine also unrest war, but correlation is far from perfect. As East Asian world-system developed, in one empire—especially China, by biggest most powerful—tended be more influential neighbors, while became less overall.
