摘要: Weathering processes are not confined to surface conditions. Thick weathering mantles ubiquitous around the world and show various ages, from Mesozoic Quaternary. Of considerable geomorphological importance is stripping of pre-weathered materials that exposes an etched surface. Etchsurfaces at different stages evolution present globe, current development in low latitudes mainly through episodic etchplanation. Inselbergs, multi-convex relief, topographic basins geomorphic signatures landscape etching stripping.
