摘要: We have recently shown that an evolutionary conserved gene LAZ3, encoding a zinc finger protein, is disrupted and overexpressed in some B-cell lymphomas (mainly with large cell component) show chromosomal rearrangements involving 3q27. Because the breakpoints involved these are focused narrow major translocation cluster (MTC) on chromosome 3, we used genomic probes from this region to study molecular of LAZ3 series patients (217) non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Southern blot analysis showed rearrangement 43 (19.8%). Rearrangement was found 11 84 (13%) follicular but most frequent aggressive (diffuse mixed, diffuse cell, immunoblastic subtypes), which 31 114 (27%) were affected. The highest proportion alteration observed (26 71 cases, 37%). Eleven 32 3q27 abnormality had no rearrangement, suggesting possibility involvement outside MTC. On other hand, 18 39 available cytogenetic results did not visible break at 3q27, almost half detectable by methods. No statistical association could be between status initial features disease or clinical outcome either lymphomas. conclude relatively event lymphoma, especially those histology. It as marker disease, further studies needed clarify implications alterations.
