摘要: This paper summarizes a comprehensive research program of the ride qualities long-haul trucks. Factors are identified which contribute significantly to differences in quality between various truck models and configurations over range actual operating conditions. Detailed measurements six floor seat accelerations driver passenger ratings were made on ten in-service trucks five segments, ranging from "smooth" "rough," typical California freeway. The experimental methodology is reviewed validated, example data preliminary comparisons objective subjective measures presented.
