摘要: In addition to epidemiological and neurobiological perspectives on the relationship between chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) psychiatric disorders there has been increasing interest in role of cognitive-behavioural, psychological, psychodynamic social factors aspects this syndrome. These may be important initiation and/or maintenance CFS play roles misdiagnosis primary psychopathology as CFS. They targets for intervention treatment. This paper examines relevance following issues better understanding results studies: (1) concepts somatization abnormal illness behaviour; (2) patients' attributions; (3) psychological constructs such depressive vulnerability occurring individuals dependent upon achievement self-esteem euthymic mood, perfectionism, helplessness; (4) personality characteristics styles; (5) potential iatrogenic health care system producing disability with a diagnosis CFS; (6) media other sociocultural forces patient's choice label; (7) impact label patient. The importance differentiating initiating maintaining or perpetuating is emphasized.
