Measurements: outcomes signs symptoms withdrawal, retention treatment, completion rate, relapse rate side effects. Findings: Methadone detoxification results higher lower fewer effects when adrenergic agonists. No difference was observed comparing agonists; buprenorphine appears have advantage over on Conclusions: Despite considerable number trials that been carried out this topic, they are very heterogeneous as far comparisons considered. This prevented many them from incorporated into meta-analysis. Consensus measurements should be reached among researchers involved evaluation effectiveness treatments opiate addiction order produce consistent measuring reporting clinical trials.
