摘要: In this work, a new THz-device configuration for biosensing applications is demonstrated. A modular approach in parallel-plate using separate components signal generation, transducer and detection The low-cost disposable based on metallized periodic groove structures as high-Q photonic band gap resonators. Photoconductively activated slot launchers are used generators detectors of THz waves. comparison to the former planar strip line approaches, concept provides cost-efficient solution given exchangeability, disposability or reusability components. This waveguide allows coupling with high positioning tolerance broadband matching minimal losses. Significantly, higher Q-factors resonant sensing achieved approach.
