摘要: Networked organizations must grapple with a constant trade-off between ease of workflow for their employees, and devoting time resources to computer security. In group collaborators whose workflows can differ substantially, creating broad cohesive awareness around security be difficult, especially spaces like news institutions, where continuous collaboration carried out under threat cyberattack. Using sensemaking framework, we analyzed interviews two levels organizational actors, lower-level reporters higher-level supervising editors. Fragmented sensemaking, in which individuals maintain own discrete disconnected approaches the complex situation security, was pervasive. Storytelling as strategy, however, found both levels. particular, while personal stories were shared by all partici-pants, editors on average more second-hand narratives they'd heard about other organizations.Noting that described how such shaped decisions, conclude recommendations integrating storytelling methods into robust training modules collaborative working environments.
