摘要: A novel fifth-order elliptic cross-coupled wideband bandstop filter (BSF) is proposed and designed in this letter. It devised by introducing additional electric coupling into two nonadjacent quarter-wavelength shunt stubs of a conventional commensurate line BSF. The selectivity stopband rejection can be effectively enhanced extra transmission zeros generated from the coupling. BSF directly normalized lowpass prototype using design formulas, which are derived based on rigorous correspondence between its lumped $S$ -plane. In order to demonstrate our design, example developed, with measured 27.2 dB over fractional bandwidth 141.7%.
