摘要: The effect of particle-phase acidity on secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation from isoprene is investigated in a laboratory chamber study, which the inorganic seed was controlled systematically. observed enhancement SOA mass concentration closely correlated to increasing (R2 = 0.979). Direct chemical evidence for acid-catalyzed reactions obtained analyses. Aerosol concentrations 2-methyltetrols, as well newly identified sulfate esters, both serve tracers ambient aerosols, increased significantly with enhanced acidity. acidities, measured nmol H+ m-3, employed present study are same range those tropospheric collected eastern U.S.
