摘要: The Client Assessment of Strengths Interests and Goals (CASIG), a measure that assesses the treatment outcomes individuals with serious persistent mental illness, has previously shown adequate psychometric properties an American sample. Since it quite specific skills needs, is necessary to assess its cultural relevance characteristics before using in different country. Hence, purposes this study were (1) adapt CASIG culture Canadian setting translate items directions into French, (2) determine adapted English French versions CASIG, (3) identify latent constructs via exploratory factor analysis. self-report (CASIG-SR) was administered 224 consumers living community, informant (CASIG-I) 31 clinicians answering for 172 consumers. participating also completed Behavior Symptom Identification Scale-32 (BASIS-32), Short Form Health Survey-36 (SF-36), Camberwell Needs (CAN). informants clinician version CAN. CASIG-SR CASIG-I had internal consistency, test-retest, interrater reliabilities. Correlations consumers' informants' results BASIS-32, SF-36, CAN provided evidence convergent discriminant validity, as did contrasts between higher lower functioning community analysis supports construct validity assessment. confirm adequacy translated Canada.
