The kinematics of ball-screw mechanisms via the slide–roll ratio

摘要: Abstract The motion state of balls in the ball screw mechanism is hard to observed or measured because complexity consisting three main components: screw, nut and balls. In this paper, a kinematic model for basic single arc driven by rotation established using homogenous transformation matrix, characteristics slide–roll ratios at contact points raceways are analyzed. There five possible relative states: a) pure rolling rolling–sliding mixed motion, b) c) sliding no d) e) both between tangential direction helix path. A parametric study also carried out evaluate effect velocity on ratio based numerical calculations points.
