摘要: Jail practitioners are very familiar with a small, but active group of minor offenders that cycle through local correctional institutions on regular basis. These have received comparatively little scrutiny from jail scholars, and this study responds to gap in the literature by examining legal social characteristics Florida has been labeled frequent fliers. This exploratory examines these high-demand users their involvement justice systems. The findings reveal small inmates dozens, some cases, more than hundred admissions over period years – most often for offenses. results suggest fliers exhaust community services jails safety net high-demand, high-needs population absence alternatives.
