摘要: Estimation of IgG avidity index is a classical serological method. Antibodies with low are detectable at very early stage infection whereas high antibodies indicate past infection. Recently, it was shown that the neutralization assay can be routinely used as reliable method for differentiating between acute primary and non-primary in single serum sample because first neutralizing titers (NT) appeared after an average 13 weeks (range, 10-17 weeks). A positive NT titer presence specific IgM antibodies, however, still represents diagnostic problem especially if blood sampling occurred 12th week gestation. To overcome this combination tests evaluated. Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) indices 350 samples from 227 pregnant women were investigated using 6M urea washing buffer. HCMV reached full maturation approximately 20-22 seroconversion therefore marker The combined application microneutralization assays to serve helpful tool diagnosis recent second trimester pregnancy particularly when previous data not available.
