Soil carbon dioxide flux from shelterbelts in farmland in temperate arid region, northwest China

摘要: Abstract As a managed ecosystem, soil respiration in farmland shelterbelt has seldom been reported. In this study, was measured using an automated CO 2 efflux system (LI-COR 8100) 2005 and 2006. Additionally, the effects of abiotic factors on variation during growing season site were examined at Populus Ulmus pumila shelterbelts Xinjiang, China. Soil followed temperature between sampling years two sites. 50 cm depth ( T 50 ) explained 78.5% seasons with exponential equation site, while 35 cm 35 explaining 64.4% U. pumila site. There no apparent relationship water content. The significantly higher than mean rate 3.71 1.82 μmol CO  m −2  s −1 , respectively. greater growth status, quantum yield photosystemII Φ PSII) photosynthetic electron transport (ETR) consistent Temperature dominant factor driving temporal variability seasons.
